Dr Mulhern graduated from the University of Glasgow and has worked as an NHS Consultant Clinical Psychologist for over 10 years. She has practiced in a number of clinical areas including; Adult Mental Health, Spinal Injuries, Oncology, Neurorehabilitation, Liaison Psychiatry, General Medicine and Clinical Neuropsychology. She has post doctorate training in Clinical Neuropsychology and continues to work in NHS Ayrshire & Arran as the Consultant and Clinical Lead for Neuropsychology and Neurorehabilitation.
Dr Mulhern can also provide comprehensive cognitive assessments to establish current cognitive ability (including memory function). Dr Mulhern will work alongside medical colleagues to diagnose dementia. Cognitive assessment can also be undertaken to establish and manage the cognitive, behaviour and emotional problems associated with physical health conditions.
